For the next part of my project I really want to learn how to make implants on my own and print them. I want to have a skull to work with. I think that I may be able to purchase one on amazon (not real of coarse haha) I could then use it for reference and measurements as I print my implants. I could break it maxilla or its nose bones and then attempt to fix them with implants.
The FDA just approved the first sub-dermal cranial implants. They use poly-ether-ketone-ketone (PEKK) which is a high performance polymer for their prints.
