This week was unfortunately shortened quite some time because of the hurricane. We only met on Monday and a shortened class period on Friday. However while the class period on Friday was shortened it was amazing. We got to meet with two incredible people who had graduated from HPA. They had started their own startup companies and because were the faces of things such as the Bio Curious Moment and the future of computing. We got to explain our projects to them and have them give us real world and incredible advice. They were truly inspiring and helped me gain confidence in my project and in my future as a member of the new generation who will fix who many of the problems that we face today. They also shared with us what it is like to work at a start up company and how the dynamic of that is run. (I took notes) As for the rest of the weekend I want to get a head start on the week and begin to learn about x-rays and blender and maybe but them to practice in the upcoming week.
