I have begun to explore several different types of imaging methods that could be used to help aid me in the beginning of the process. Imaging is an extremely important part of the medical field. We have come al long way from the x-ray. Today I can attach a accessory to an iPad and in a few minutes get a fully rendered 3d model of a human face. This being said the x-ray is long from being useless. It is still a very accessible technology that can provide a good sense of the bone structures underneath the skin. This being said we have evolved this ionizing ration technology. We now have CAT scans and MRIs that can help create a more dynamic image of a patient and his or her facial structure. The energy lab already has a 3d imaging camera as well as the ability to get me in contact with people who are more versed in the medical applications of imaging. For my own project I think it is best to pick one or two “patients” and try and acquire an x-ray of them, a 3d model, a traditional photograph, and maybe even a MRI. This way I have several angels to work from and to use in the future of the project. Zoey has offered her services and her face to me as a potation test subject. This only thing that I have to figure out is how to look at it through a global responsibility sense and how to work from a subject that doesn't have a photograph to work from or any imaging for that matter.
