Today we had to choose a project to work on for the semester. For my project, I decided to work on the telescopes that we have at the energy lab. Currently there are three telescopes here at the energy lab. Two of them are able to be controlled by the computer if you have a windows operating system. One MacBook here can run windows so using that computer, I can control the telescopes. There is also a camera that can be attached to the telescopes so if I could try to somehow stream live video from the telescopes to the computer and maybe share it with the world via video conferencing.
- What: First connecting the camera and making it work so that others can see it
- Who: Just me
- When: As soon as possible
- Supplies: Telescope, camera, and computer too see video
- Why: To show people what the sky looks like without them needing a super high tech telescope.
I think that I might need some help for this but I will give it my best.
