Today I worked on coding and finished my little summation page for the hallway. I'm really into coding, per usual, so that's good. I had my Stanford interview today which brought back some excitement about my initial project. After discussing it and explaining exactly what I'm doing, it reminded me why I'm doing what I'm doing and why research is important, even if it seems somewhat mundane and irrelevant. I really want to delve into it. I'll still continue to code throughout, but to a lesser degree. Overall, I'm feeling much better and am looking forward to just getting done what needs to be done. I just need to keep my eyes on the prize and distract myself as much as possible and I'll be fine. Focus is key!!
