    The Falcon Heavy launch was today and it was a huge success! The rocket (with Elon Musk's car) successfully made it space and is on the proper trajectory towards Mar’s. Both boosters in stage 1 returned to the landing platforms and landed perfectly. The only part that went wrong was that the main core (stage 2) did not land on the the drone ship like it was supposed to. However, this was a test flight and landing the main core had never been attempted before so, overall, I would call this a major success.


    The Falcon Heavy is a huge breakthrough into space exploration as, with its 27 engines, in is two times more powerful than the most powerful rocket currently functioning. In fact, the only focket that was ever more powerful was Saturn V. Here is a picture:

    Last, but not least, I have the first day of my internship at CFHT tomorrow, so I am super excited!
