Today in class we just talked about the final project and Tesla for most of the time. However, in the few minutes there was left I finished the list of materials I need for the muon detector:
- Scintillator (5×5×1 cm3 solid piece)
- Reflective foil (to wrap it in)
- Optical Gel
- Silicon Photomultiplier (6×6 mm2 C-Series 60035-SMT)
- Two PCB’s
- 16 MHz Arduino Nano ATmega328
- 0.96-inch OLED screen
- Mini-USB
- light-tight aluminum enclosure.
- Black Electrical Tape
- 6′′ BNC cable
- 2.1×5.5 mm2 DC
- Electronics Case with volume of 3×4×1 in3
We already have most of the stuff on the list; the only things I think I need are the scintillator and the photomultiplier.
