Today I did a couple different things. I learned a few more Unix commands:

• Wc —— (#lines, #words, #characters In txt doc)

• lpr —— (print txt doc)

• Pico —— (open and edit txt doc

I also customized my terminal packet. Over break, I want to apply ANSI colors and other changes to terminal. Here is what I’ve done so far:

I also received a crash course in computer and server information from Dr. Bill during class. I will most likely need a refresher on a lot of it but here is what I did:

• Installed Ipnetmonitorx

• Learned how to use Ipnetmonitorx

• Learned how to do email IP address lookup

• DNS Servers
