Model Project - Plan of Implementation

The overall goal of this project is to prevent and Raise awareness for ransomware and tell people that ransomware is happening and it’s happening now(Phase 1) Learn how hackers ransomware and why they do it, at the same time raise awareness and prevention. (Phase 2), Work on learning how to do basic hacks and continue to build my website (Phase 3 and Phase 4), Test run of me hacking a few of my fellow classmates for hidden secrets to unlock their information (Phase 5) email my fellow classmates who got hacked and have them use my website that i’ve built to learn prevention and also hope that they spread the awareness

Phase 1 - Learning the why, the how, and how to prevent and raise awareness : These are the three things that I do first so that I can have a full understanding of what Ransomware is and why Hackers do it

• Milestone: Learn HTML to build websites

• HTML is Hypertext Markup Language is the standard markup language for documents designed to be displayed in a web browser.

• Milestone 2: Think in the way as a hacker that holds people information hostage for a ransom

• This is so that I understand who the hackers hack, why they hack, and how they hack.

• Milestone 3: Ask for permission to hack a few people at school and kidnap their information

• I will gain an understanding of what best practice looks like and also raise awareness for ransomware.

Phase 2 - Work on learning how to do basic hacks and continue to build my website: Learn how to hack with Dr.Bill and continue to build my website so that I can use it for prevention

• Milestone 1: Set up meeting with Dr. Bill

• Ask Dr. bill about Hacking and if it is possible for me to do here on campus and what I need to do to be able to hack and kidnap someone’s information

• Milestone 2: continue to build my website with HTML

• Use my HTML skills to continue to build my website that will be for prevention and how to protect yourself

• Milestone 3: Use my skills to build extra websites that will be used to be links in my spam emails

• The purpose of these will be to give people hints that don’t trust everything you see because it could get you hacked

• - Milestone 4: Work towards my end goal which is holding my fellow classmates personal information hostage so that i can get whatever I want out of them

• The end goal is to use people as examples so that I can teach people how to prevent ransomware and also raise awareness

Phase 3 - Spam People I’m going to Hack: This is where I will keep spamming the people I’m going to hack that a hack is coming by sending an anonymous email with a bunch of links that will lead to super weird websites that I will have built so that I can monitor how many people actually click on these spam emails.

Phase 4 - Get into people’s information: This is where I use the spam email to kidnap people’s information to get what I want from the person I’m hacking because this people will learn to be careful of what they do because this can get me what I want from kidnapping their Information.

Phase 5 - Final Action: After I hack my fellow classmates and take their information hostage and male them give me what I want so that their information can be unlocked I will send them an email to tell them that ransomware is real and it’s happening and they can use my website that i’ve built with HTML to learn how to prevent and raise awareness for ransomware.

My Goal that I want to accomplish this year if to educate people and prevent them from getting hacked which can cause Ransomware which is when the Hacker locks all your information and wants a certain amount of money from you (Ransom) and makes you pay it to unlock your information.

I want to educate people and help them with Ransomware because it can cause big problems like in hospitals it can cause serious injuries and also death, Another example would be like big companies can go down if they don’t have important information their companies could crash and then go out of business when they pay off the ransom. My goal would be to educate people like the bosses of the hospitals and big companies so that nothing goes wrong and people don’t lose jobs or lose a life. An essential question is Do you go to the hospital and go to big businesses, If yes how do you know you can trust them and their tech what if they get hacked?

I want to achieve this by researching where people get ransomware and how they get ransomware because this can help me go and educate the right people because if a lot of people from like Taiwan get affected by ransomware I can go around the cities and tell people how to protect themselves and how to prevent it. Some resources are movies like Zero Days and articles that talk about people who were affected by this Some challenges are I might have to learn how to Hack but also learn how to prevent hacks.

This can impact people like people who work in the hospital for example they can get locked out of medicine information which can cause people to not get their medication which could cause extreme sickness and or death. This could leave a legacy because the big picture that can be achieved in the future is ransomware attacks don’t happen anymore and we can have a safe and protected world
