Today was my first day back after the trip !!!! It was really great to see everyone and to get back into the swing of things. At the beginning of class, Savannah, Alice and I watch a short video that the HISEAS crew made in order to show off their habitat, by showing birds-eye shots of the hab and surrounding area. It was pretty short, but funny and cool. Then we went with Juan and Daniel to watch them film the solar panels on top of the English building, using the drones.
While I was away, I did a lot more research into how much a solar sensor would cost us. They all seem to be pretty expensive, so I think the best thing for us to do would be to make one DIY in the E-Lab. I will pitch this idea to Dr. Wiecking next Monday.
