Today In class the admissions department was in the elab getting information about elab projects. Almost everyone talked about their projects and the impact it has on the school and on the community. As the talk progressed bill brought up how the other oliver's project with rfid cards. Bill was saying how they would soon some time next year be trying to use rfid card scanners on all of the gates and for check in at the dorms. He said how these cards could be used as a quick way and more secure way of checking in and opening the gates. This ties directly into my project and would be a way that my project could be used for something more than just me. I would be able to be directly involved with something that everyone uses every day. Next class some students and teachers from punahou are coming.
