Day 17

Today we took a field trip to Liquid Robotics in Kawaihae. It was very very fascinating. My favorite part was the topic about how the sustainable wave gliders could alter the future of ocean transportation. It does seem a little unlikely because the larger the ships get the farther distance the waves are from each other which might not work with the crafts propulsion system. I also just want to make a small boat sized wave glider and live on it for the rest of my life. Maybe that will be my independent study next year.
