Day 14

Today in class I brainstormed. I found a white board and I wrote down almost every aspect to the physical portion of my project. I drew out the several different design plans I have. Design 1 is what I worked on today. This design consists of a line and gear system to control the lower leg movement. I will have to work out the logistics whether I should use a motor or a servo. Also, I drew out my method of direction which consists of an active base joint system. In theory, the front two legs will move much like the front axis of a car and the back legs will continue to be the driving force. Next class I plan to finish these design plans and then begin building it. This is beneficial to my project because I am figuring out how to build the chassis.
