The plants especially the basil has been affected by sapsuckers. In order to try and curb this problem, we have applied an oil to each the plants that serve as an irritant to the insects to prevent further damage to the plants. In order to verify that there was a reduction in the number of predators, I used a magnifying glass to check if there any more sap suckers still present on the leaves.
