Now I literally have a team of physicists growing in solution at elab. I may have gone a bit nerdy and named each plant after a famous scientist ranging from Newton to Sagaon to Curie. I will say this the plants are much smarter now. I did this in an attempt to conduct a study regarding the root balls. As the roots have not been growing at the usual rate I am concerned. This could be due to the soil as it retains moisture so the roots do not feel the need to grow much larger.
