    Update 09/13/2017

In class today I did some reading on rising technologies of the 21st century. After the new iPhone 8, 8+, and X, was released, I have been realizing how quickly our world has been evolving. Everyday after I wake up and right before I shut my eyes, I look at my phone and check last minute tasks. I use it inbetween as well. The average human checks their phone close to 100 times a day. We are told to take digital detox's and step away from arguably the most personal device to a human nowadays. It seems almost impossible because they are necessary for almost every technological task. Communicating, taking photgraphs, checking the news, monitoring weather, and even flying drone. These are just a few of the infinite things that we can do on our phones. With the release of more and more technologies, I predict that we are moving further and further from interacting with just our phones within its own interface but instead with combining virtual worlds with reality; also known as augmented reality. Technology is like magic and we should treat it so. Instead of looking for ways to make it evil and work against us, we should use it to our advantage to make daily tasks easier.
