I worked with Zoe for most of the period today. As one of the drone pilots, I promised to take videos of classrooms and offices on campus and around Waimea for her virtual reality project. I will be flying the Mavic Pro by DJI with safety precautions, making sure that I get 360 degrees of freedom and images/videos. Each frame from the footage I take will be pieced together in order to make a render of a certain place. The goal is to have the entire HPA campus rendered on three-dimensional files for people around the world to see what it's like at the Hawaii Preparatory Academy. Zoe and I did a lot of planning today because the batteries and remote for the Mavic were not fully charged. Next period, we plan to get footage for 1-2 classroom(s) in the Energy Lab.
