On Tuesday this week, I used the Ifixit toolkit I was given to disassemble my laptop and clean it out. I then reassembled it. I spent the rest of the class studying an old Variac transformer that Dr. Bill had laying around. It doesn't have anywhere to plug in or out, so wiring it is going to be a pain at the very least. The hope is that, if I can get it working, I can use it to power my hot wire foam cutter.
