Today we just flew the phantom for practice purposes. We did this because we have our first real test this thursday: a flight to film the HPA middle schoolers cleaning spencer, kawaiihae surf park, and kawaii harbor beach. All nervousness that we would crash left us today because the drone handles so extremely well. After we sent it up, we watched the lights indicating GPS turn green. Once this happened. The drone would hardly move when you took your hand off the controller, even when the wind gusted. As we became more and more comfortable, we tested its capabilities harder and harder. We rotated it faster, strafed it back and forth, flew it high up and then back down. No close calls. We are ready and able to record this thursday. Let's hope for static skies.
