We started on our own arduino creations. Mine will be a thermometer that reads on the lcd screen. The first thing I must do is use the example circuit on page 6 of the arduino handbook to get the temperature sensor operational. I am starting to understand how the circuitboard works. Adding power from the five volt to the power colum will power the whole colum. From there, you can power certain rows that are close to any of the pins in the power column.
