Jack and I went down to spencer beach and got video of middle schoolers performing a beach clean up from above. If I can be honest, it was very fun, but since there were not a lot of kids, it couldn't capture a large scope shot, which is what the drones are good at. There was some wind, but once the gps kicked in, it handled very well. We switched off between flying, while the other person wore the fat shark goggles and directed the flier on how to tilt the camera for the best shots. We left spencer beach and traveled to kawaiihae harbor, where another group was focusing on clean up. This was simply to get the best variety of shots that we could. I'll post some videos/photos as soon as I get on the computer where they are stored. I'm very glad we got to do something practical with the drones for the first time. More to come.
