On Monday I began researching a new project. I would like to start monitoring vog conditions through satellite imaging and sensors at HPA. At HPA, we have put a lot of focus on the environment we create and studying it in order to improve conditions. Right now, environmental qualities such as CO2 content, temperature, humidity, and sound levels are being monitored in classrooms, but other particulate in the air is not being recorded. On the Big Island, vog is a serious issue, and I think it is important for us to understand just how much of it we intake. Next week, I would like to continue working on this project. On Wednesday, I worked with sequal pro and met with visitors. I was absent on Friday for a track invitational.
