Today in class I spent most of my time going over possible project ideas with Ethan of which we both agreed could be interesting. The main idea was this: The Mavic Enterprise has a modular attachment system via a port on the top of the drone which has micro-usb for data and power. I believe it would be possible to 3d print the attachment point, which effectively would allow us to put anything we wanted onto the drones. A couple possibilities of this would be air quality sensors, or even a wifi access point. I hope that next year Ethan or anyone else working on the drone program will be able to pursue this idea.
