Today in class me and Ethan looked into the actual logistics of attaching things to the drone platform. Sofar as we can tell there should be no big issues with mounting our own devices to the Mavic Enterprise. We also looked into possible drop-systems for some of the Inspire 1 drone. We think an ideal setup for search and rescue would be to have the Mavic Enterprise to locate and instruct people, while a Inspire 1 could be dispatched with supplies (as apparently it can hold a payload of up to ~5 pounds). This would allow for possibly life-saving supplies to be delivered to people in hard to reach locations much sooner than any manned team could.
