This week I worked on my vog sensor on the drone project a lot. I started the week off by drilling holes in the vog sensor harness so that I could attach it to the drone with zip ties or wooden dowels. I then spent the most of the first day with the first grade class, showing them around the Elab and everything we had in the monlab. The next two days I spent a lot of time working on my Inkscape document of the plate I will attach to the bottom of the drone to attach the vog sensor harness. I worked a little with Mr. H to figure out the specifics of Inkscape, and then spent a lot of time playing around. To make cuts rather than engraving, the lines must be 0.025 mm thick, which is something I had to figure out and was having trouble with. I wasn't able to edit the line thickness of shapes that I had copy and pasted, so when I made the holes for the screws to go through, I had to make 4 individual circles rather than copy and pasting one three times. Here is the .pdf and some pictures.
