Today, there was a storm front that came through and it was especially bad in kohala, so I didn't come to school until after class. I spent all morning helping to divert water around the house with my dad, trying to avoid being struck by lightning. Also the roads in kohala were all washed out and there were fallen trees, so I had to wait until the storm completely passes and all the water drained down the hill (about 9:30) until I could leave for school.
