We only had one class this week, so I didn't have a chance to do much. I would have come up and worked over the weekend, but I was away at cross country states. However, on Thursday, the last day I was here, I figured out what was wrong with Unity, and why it was not letting me give demonstrations on the oculus rift. It turns out that there were doubles of all the scripts and that's the terms were being redefined every time they appeared. The program did not like that, because apparently scripts are not self contained, and can interact with each other. Also, apparently Pikoi was going to cost country states as an alternate for the boys, so he could not work on the project either.
