    1. Should CO2 drop in the daytime due to photosynthesis ?
    2. Could you tell vog days from clear days?
    3. What about seasons?
    4. Looking at the globe from the top then the bottom, which has more land, more ocean?
    5. Land has plants, which absorb CO2.Which hemisphere (top or bottom) should have the greatest variation in CO2 seasonally, and how in phase are the two?

    7. From the AQI handout, what are the four main pollutants, and what is likely to be #5?
    8. What is the max AQI? What about for each pollutant?
    9. Why are people with heart and lung disease susceptible to PM?
    10. At what age does this begin for men and women?
    11. Why does cold weather make ozone levels higher?
    12. Is there a comprehensive, cheap AQI tester? What would this look like?
    13. Look up ozone and free radicals-how can these impact white blood cells?
    14. Why would ozone cause permanent lung damage?
    15. PMs are called "solid and liquid droplets": would vog be in this class?
    16. How recent are the PM standards?
    17. Explain the process of forming CO, vs. CO2
    18. Look up HbO2 and carboxyhemoglobin. How does CO bind to Hb?
    19. Why do coal and oil contain more sulfur than methane?
    20. Why would sitting be less damaging than walking in high SO2 areas?
