I was absent in ISR today as I was attending IMS. However, I did do two things outside of the summit. First of all, I emailed Jim Keravala, providing him with my email so he can send me some of the things we talked about. I also worked with Angelina to draw out a full diagram of the Earth-Moon-Mars Global Coalition, as Buzz went over it rather quickly and we wanted to make sure we fully understood it. Here is a picture (we were thinking we could hang it up in the Elab after)-
I know that after sketching it I want to talk to Buzz tomorrow about why there are three lunar cyclers. I understand why there might have to be two, as Leo is a commercial cycler and it is probably good to have another one for fuel refills, but I do not understand why we would need a third one. I also would want to ask if there would be any plans to have cyclers around Mars, as it could be useful for fuel refills.
I also jotted down some things (in particular some companies) that I want to look into more after the summit:
- MoonExpress
- Proton Light Chips (Jim was talking to me about them)
- Quantum Biology (Another thing Jim told me about that he wants to send me some information on)
- OffWorld (I know a little about the company now but I would like to do some more research)
- SkyCorp
- Blue Origin (Also know a little about this company but would like to know more)
- Map of the Moon
- Antartic Treaty
- Hawaii's new FAA space licence
- Roger Dean's Architectural designs (www.rogerdean.com)
- The Structure of Scientific Revolutions (Book)
- SCI and other NASA plans to create a MoonBase that never succeeded
- APASS
